Overview of Role
The role is to manage maintenance and repair for renewable energy installations, diagnosing faults, providing technical support, and collaborating with engineering and customer service teams while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems.
* Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
* Maintain high levels of customer care, meeting required quality standards.
* Document updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
* Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
* Ensure relevant parts are available through stock ordering and auditing procedures.
Key Requirements & Attributes
* Friendly and professional attitude, building strong relationships with clients and tenants.
* Essential experience in renewable energy heating and hot water systems.
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
* Desirable gas qualifications.
* Valid driving licence.
* Commitment to complete background checks before starting.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch).
