Job Title: Network Planning Assistant Line Manager: Head of Planning & Scheduling Department: Schedules Location : Head Office (Cricklewood) Ref No: ML044 Job summary: To provide general administrative support to the schedules department and to prepare all schedules documentation required for the operation of contracted bus and rail replacement services. Main Responsibilities: Maintain a full knowledge of the requirements and upcoming changes of the schedules department. Preparation of driver dutycards and other scheduling items. Maintain Electronic Databases in both live and archive schedules as required by the Assistant Schedules Manager. Assist with fleet movement with transfer notice and communicate to all relevant parties when required. Maintain Electronic Databases for fleet cascade and outgoing fleet when they are sold and collected. To undertake any general office-related duties from time to time. Essential Criteria: Demonstrate experience in an administrative capacity. An understanding of the Company’s operating area, particularly with regard to Garage and relief points (desirable) An understanding of the bus industry and its relevant documents. Competencies & Skills: Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly. Excellent attention for detail. Ability to operate as a team player and work well under pressure. Highly organised, motivated and able to prioritise workload. Ability to manage own workload effectively and work to strict deadlines. Ability to use initiative and identify solutions when a problem or difficult situation arises.
