Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Supporting the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to ensure every pupil's needs are met.
* Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and foster positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
* Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
* Have previous successful teaching experience.
* Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
* Demonstrate knowledge of behavior management techniques.
* Be committed to professional development and eager to learn.
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
