On behalf of our client based in Ballymena we are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant
This role will be full time Mon- Frid
Job Duties:
HP Liabilities
1. Maintenance of HP liability schedule showing monthly outgoings
2. Reconciliation of HP liability nominal to HP liability schedule
3. Completion of HP liability nominal line item transactions description - monthly
4. Completion of HP interest nominal line item transactions description - monthly
5. Completion of monthly HP Liability and HP interest charts with monthly and YTD commentary
6. Posting of new HP liability agreements into Sage
7. Assist with adhoc HP Liabilities queries
Depreciation
8. Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register
9. Maintenance of the depreciation schedule showing monthly outgoings
10. Reconciliation of depreciation's nominals to the depreciation schedule
11. Completion of depreciation nominal line-item transactions - monthly
12. Completion of monthly depreciation charts with monthly and YTD commentary
13. Assist with adhoc depreciation queries
GMR & Supplementary Declarations
14. Completion of GMR when required
15. Ensure all paperwork is reported accurately and on time for supplementary declarations
Purchasing
16. Engagement with the production teams to ensure a good understanding of stock requirements
17. Management of the Kanban system
18. Ensure items are purchased and arrive in a timely manner
19. Assist with ensuring items are purchased as the lowest possible price
20. Assist with performing supplier price comparisons to help ensure we receive the lowest possible price
21. Close out variance queries of delivery notes, purchase orders and supplier invoices
22. Adhoc purchasing queries
Inventory Management
23. Assist with the management of inventors
24. Assist with inventory reporting
OFI reporting
25. Weekly preparation of OFI charts
26. Assist with OGI reporting
Production Operations reporting
27. Assist with building and producing a suite of production operation reports
Performance Packs & Budgeting
28. Assist with the preparation of business performance packs, monthly, year-end & budgeting
Monthly Reporting
29. Assist with month end reporting
30. Completion of monthly stock adjustment journals
Other
31. Ensure a high level of consistency and quality is maintained in every task performed
32. Attendance and contribution at the weekly 'under the roof' meeting
33. Assist with any other business-related tasks required
Essential Criteria:
2+ years of experience in a similar position
Sage 50 Accounts experience
Strong systems experience, particularly in Excel
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Strong administrative/ customer service experience.
