We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable company in Brentwood that is looking to strengthen their team of skilled HGV Technicians.

Duties of the HGV Technician include:
12. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on HGVs to identify faults or potential issues
13. Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
14. Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to carry out repairs effectively
15. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems
16. Carry out welding, soldering, and fabrication tasks as required for vehicle repairs or modifications
17. Assemble replacement parts or components with precision to ensure proper fitment and function
18. Maintain detailed records of all work carried out in accordance with company procedures
19. Assist with the repair or operation of auxiliary equipment such as excavators or forklifts when necessary
20. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards???????
Candidate requirements for the HGV Technician role:
21. Proven experience as an HGV Technician with certification ideally at Level 3
22. Full UK driving licence, with HGV Class 1 preferred but not essential
23. Flexibility to work overtime and participate in occasional call-outs
24. Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team environment
25. Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and brake testing is desirable
