Due to continued growth in our Residential Property Department, we are now seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor/ Licenced Conveyancer to join our team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced conveyancing solicitor/Licenced Conveyancer who is looking to join a supportive, down-to-earth firm where their contribution will genuinely matter.
You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, with appropriate administrative support.
Your caseload will include:
Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Remortgages
Transfers of equity
New build and off-plan purchases
Shared ownership transactions
Help to Buy schemes
Auction transactions
Right to Buy matters
Title investigations and reporting
You will be responsible for:
Taking instructions and providing clear advice to clients
Drafting and reviewing contracts
Investigating title and raising enquiries
Reporting to clients
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
Handling exchange and completion
Managing post-completion formalities

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified Solicitor or Licenced Conveyancer (ideally 3+ years PQE, though strong candidates will be considered)
Have experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
Be confident in handling both freehold and leasehold matters
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
Be highly organised and capable of managing deadlines effectively
Have excellent communication and client care skills
Be approachable, personable, and a good fit for a small team environment
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience supervising support staff
Existing client following
Knowledge of the Leicester and surrounding property market
