We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus Manchester to join our Media Department as a Creative Media Teacher on a permanent, part-time (17.5 hours per week) basis. Are you passionate about film, digital media, and content creation? We're looking for a dynamic and Creative Media Teacher to deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons to our Creative Media students across Level 1 to Level 3. What you'll do: Deliver high-quality, practical, and theory-based sessions in creative media production, including areas like film, video editing, audio, and digital design. Support students in building strong technical skills and professional behaviours. Guide learners through projects, coursework, and assessments, helping them to explore their creativity and develop industry-ready portfolios. Contribute to the planning and development of an exciting curriculum that reflects the ever-evolving media landscape. What we're looking for: A confident communicator experienced in working in a further education setting and with a demonstrable knowledge around delivering high quality, learner-focused education. Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) and current media production practices. A passion for nurturing talent and helping young people succeed, fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration in order for students to succeed. In this role, you'll work closely with colleagues to strengthen curriculum design and overall programme delivery. You'll contribute to the planning and development of a curriculum that aligns with the UAL framework, embeds English and Maths skills, reflects best practices, and meets quality benchmarks. You'll also stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance your teaching approach.
