Role overview
As a Street Cleansing Operative in our Norfolk team, you will provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Norfolk. You will work with a professional, dedicated and friendly team to ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst delivering high levels of customer service to the community we serve.
You’ll Be Entrusted To
* Carry out both programmed and responsive cleansing requirements on an hourly/daily/weekly/monthly basis with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
* Understand contract requirements and the specification of all street cleansing.
* Identify and understand key performance indicators and ensure that these are met.
* Regularly report to line manager progress on works and any matters affecting delivery.
* Work as part of the team, contributing ideas for improvements in service provision.
* Responsible for the daily inspection and reporting procedure for machinery, prior to and on completion of usage, including vehicles.
* Responsible for the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
