About the Team
The Intervention & Care Planning Team works with children and families where longer-term intervention is required, undertaking assessments, care planning, child protection work, court proceedings and permanence planning.
Youll hold manageable caseloads and work within a supportive team environment led by experienced managers committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing complex child protection and child in need cases
* Completing assessments, care plans and statutory visits
* Working with children subject to Child Protection Plans and Public Law Outline processes
* Undertaking court work and care proceedings where required
* Building strong relationships with children, families and partner agencies
* Delivering high-quality, child-focused social work practice
What Were Looking For
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
* Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience in Childrens Services
* Strong experience within Child Protection, Court Work and Care Planning
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload
* Excellent assessment, analytical and report-writing skills
* Ofsted-Rated Childrens Services
