We are looking for a motivated candidate with residential construction experience to join our growing regional business to undertake the role of Technical Co-ordinator based at our Bristol officewith sites across theSouth Westregion.
Reporting to the Technical Manager you willassistin managing and ensuring the effective delivery of mixed tenure residential developments from a technical discipline. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable leading meetings and presenting to clients, senior leadership within Lovell and to all levels of the business.
About the role
The role willcompriseofprovidingassistancetothe Technical Manager in providing technical management andtimelyprogression of mixed tenure residential projects through prestart stage to physical start on site and to provide support to the build stage accordingly.
You will be familiar with and be able to:
* Process design information andmaintaindocument control and issue
* Co-ordinate andassistin management of the design team and specialist subcontractors
* Process Manage design interfaces between packages.
* Technically evaluate scheme proposals ensuring planning and building control matters are addressed
* Youllhave experience in new build in both private sale and social housing markets build coupled with knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations, currentstandardsand legislation.
* With a high degree of skill in co-ordinating the distribution of information,youllbe a proven team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision. CAD drawing capability would be desirable, however is not essential.
