The Role
Finance Analysis Manager at QinetiQ, Farnborough
As a Finance Analysis Manager, you will be an integral member of the Finance and Governance function, acting as the Finance Business Partner of choice, delivering safe, responsible, and sustainable outcomes to support strategic growth.
Day‑to‑day, you will own the analysis of Group operational P&L and balance sheet performance, providing insight into key performance indicators to drive improved results.
This role will work closely with the wider Group Finance team and sector FP&A teams to drive reporting improvements focusing on reducing waste, increasing productivity, improving quality, and automation.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Reporting and analysis across all operating profit metrics and key drivers, incorporating improved KPI monitoring to drive Group performance
* Analyse business metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities
* Oversee the creation of automated reporting that drives efficiency and visibility, including taking the lead on the opportunity to use AI within finance
* Own the financial reporting element of Oracle implementation, driving automation and best practice with sector teams
Essential experience for the Finance Analysis Manager
* Strong programme and project management skills; expert in Reporting
* Strong people, stakeholder and influencing skills; able to operate at a leadership level
* Confident and articulate with well‑developed communication, facilitation and presentation skills
* Exceptional business partnering background
Essential qualifications for the Finance Analysis Manager
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
Employment terms: 37 hours per week based at Farnborough head office with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
