About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, along with some IT skills. Communicative and considerate interaction with residents and colleagues is essential.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, and performing tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness and professionalism.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
