Job Description
New Directions Education is currently recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in North Liverpool from January. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced practitioners, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
• Full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Deliver learning through an inquiry-led approach, encouraging pupils to question, explore, and deepen their understanding.
• Effectively challenge and extend high-achieving learners, ensuring progress for all pupils.
• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment that supports excellent behaviour and learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, with mentoring and support available.
• Confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum and adapting teaching to meet the needs of high-achieving pupils.
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and keen to develop within an inquiry-based teaching environment.
• Able to provide recent employment or training references and willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or already registered with the Update Service).
