Overview
Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a global organisation to recruit for an experienced Financial Crime Monitoring Analyst. This is a position with a leading international insurance business, offering exposure to high-impact projects, regulatory engagement, and control frameworks across global platforms. This role is suitable for someone with 1+ year of experience in financial crime, compliance, or data analytics, or a graduate with relevant experience and strong analytical capabilities, looking to grow in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct monitoring and quality assurance reviews in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
* Support the production of regular and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders and governance committees.
* Help enhance the monitoring framework and internal procedures, including the use of data analytics to drive insights and improve controls.
* Provide input into the annual Compliance Plan and Financial Crime Monitoring Programme.
* Assist with internal audits, regulatory visits, and the preparation of relevant materials.
* Support and assist with training, as necessary, the 1LOD Financial Crime Operations Team.
* Contribute to broader compliance initiatives, including risk assessments, policy reviews, and communications.
Skills & experience required
* At least 1 year of experience in financial crime, compliance, audit, or data analytics (financial services preferred).
* Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail.
* Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage tasks to deadlines.
* Keen interest in risk, regulation, and financial crime prevention.
