Are you an experienced administrator looking for a part time opportunity in a busy but friendly team environment, working locally in Scotland but very much part of a wider European business support team? SLR has a great opportunity within both its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices for someone to provide support to a busy team of Environmental, Engineering and Advisory consultants - and the wider business support and management teams\n\nThe role\nThe main duties and responsibilities will include:\n\n * Supporting Office Managers, Senior Administrators, Team Leads, and the Business Support Manager with any office and general administration tasks as required.\n\n * Carrying out front of house responsibilities with respect to booking in, welcoming and providing refreshments for visitors and guests to the office.\n\n * Organising hospitality for meetings and visitors, including preparing refreshments, business lunches and administration support.\n\n * Carrying out regular daily walkabouts around the office ensuring supplies are available, printers are equipped with paper, internal toilets are well stocked, meeting rooms are cleared following meetings and communal areas are clear and tidy for example.\n\n * Booking desks and meeting rooms for staff and visitors as required.\n\n * Conducting supply checks and preparing a stock order for OM approval. Storing supply goods upon delivery to the office.\n\n * Assisting with other administrative and secretarial duties as required, which could include assisting with reception cover, taking phone calls, purchase orders, invoices (for all European offices), car hire and arranging couriers.\n\n * Be active in the sub-teams ensuring KPI’s are met eg Contracts Review, Travel Team, Client Registration, PPE, Formatting etc.\n\n * Prepare reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence as well as formatting, scanning, copying, proof reading and issue of reports and other documents for the European Client Facing and Shared Service team members.\n\n * Organise and maintain files and databases along with filing and archiving/retrieving project documents.\n\n * Attending to confidential data and correspondence.\n\n * Build key internal relationships and contact points for effective engagement with Service Lines and SLR Shared Services.\n\n * Other Business Support administration as necessary from time to time.\n\nAbout us\nSLR are global leaders in Sustainability Solutions, helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals.
