We are currently seeking a Construction Engineer, reporting directly to our UK Head of Construction, to join our team based in either London or Milton Keynes.

About the mission we offer you: We seek a Construction Engineer based in Milton Keynes or London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support the Construction Engineer Lead / Construction Manager in executing duties and preparing deliverables for various project phases.
Main Accountabilities:
* Interface with HO departments, construction sites, and clients to create deliverables.
* Provide constructability input for feasibility studies, FEEDs, detailed design, and field construction.
* Support the Construction Manager with workshops/reviews and programs, contributing to final constructability reports.
* Assist in developing organization charts and mobilization schedules.
* Support the development of Temporary Site Facilities plans.
* Support writing of construction execution plans.
* Assist with construction sequences and schedule development.
* Provide technical assistance to sites.
* Attend site surveys and contribute to reports.
* Assist in prequalification of subcontractors and regional capability surveys.
* Help estimate construction costs.
* Organize transportation and logistics surveys.
* Support heavy lifting strategies and site preparation activities.
* Travel frequently to sites and client offices.
About you: Successful candidates should have:
* Experience in petrochemical, energy transition, or related industries.
* HNC or Degree in a relevant engineering or construction field.
* Good spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and technical writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and engineering procedures.
* Fluency in UK English.
* Commitment to safety and responsibility for others' safety.
Advantageous experience includes NEC contract exposure, knowledge of CDM regulations, UK trade union agreements, and holding a CSCS card or SMSTS qualification.
