Lifting Supervisor / Appointed Person needed in a Government Project (Aldermaston)\n\n * Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire\n\n * Duration: Minimum 2 Years (Long-Term Project)\n\n * Rate: Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)\n\n * Start Date: Subject to successful interview and security clearance\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor / Appointed Person for a long-term, high-security government infrastructure project in Aldermaston. This is a dual-role opportunity for a qualified professional to oversee and manage all lifting operations on-site, working directly with our client.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Plan and execute lifting operations\n\n * Review lift plans and RAMS, ensuring all lifting activities are risk-assessed and properly coordinated\n\n * Supervise crane operators, slingers, and signallers to ensure safe lifting operations\n\n * Interpret and work from technical lifting drawings and site schematics\n\n * Liaise with site management and other stakeholders to deliver a safe and efficient lifting strategy\n\nEssential Requirements:\n\n * Blue CPCS A61 (Appointed Person) and A62 (Lifting Supervisor) tickets\n\n * Demonstrable experience in a combined Lifting Supervisor and Appointed Person role\n\n * Strong technical understanding of lifting operations and industry regulations\n\n * Competency in reading and interpreting lifting drawings\n\n * Excellent communication and leadership skills\n\nSecurity and Nationality Requirements:\n\nDue to the sensitive nature of the site and the need to access classified drawings and operational areas, British nationality is required.
