In this role, you will support the General Services Manager in delivering high-quality services in line with service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and contractual standards. You will also be responsible for supervising a diverse team, including front-of-house staff, porters, mailroom operatives, cleaners, and receptionists. What you’ll do: Manage and oversee day-to-day soft FM operations across catering and front-of-house services Support delivery of KPIs, service standards, and contractual requirements Supervise, motivate, and engage team members to ensure high performance Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation Monitor food safety standards, including temperature checks and compliance Support catering operations including food preparation, service, and stock control Oversee ordering, handling, and security of stock, equipment, and cash Assist with planning and delivering events to increase engagement with facilities Complete KPI reporting and support operational improvements Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company policies Provide cover for other areas and step up to support management when required What you bring: Essential: Previous experience in a catering or operational role Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and commitment to standards Desirable: Experience within events or hospitality environments Previous team leadership or supervisory experience Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach What we offer: Fully funded apprenticeship qualifications Career development opportunities within Sodexo A friendly and supportive work environment Wellbeing Support – Unlimited online resources, a free health app with 24/7 virtual GP, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
