About Stevens Treatment Programs
At Stevens, we empower youth to lead successful lives through high-quality education and treatment in a safe and nurturing environment. Our on-campus, Chapter 766-approved Special Education School serves adolescent boys in grades 5–12. Youth receive individualized education, trauma-informed clinical services, and daily behavioral support, all aimed at helping them reintegrate into home and community with the resilience they need to thrive.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, flexible, and mission-driven Special Education professional to join our team as Educational Coordinator. This full-time, year-round role is responsible for ensuring compliance with IEP processes, coordinating key academic assessments, supporting instructional staff, and assisting with behavioral response during the school day.

Working closely with the Education Director, the Educational Coordinator plays a pivotal role in aligning educational services with each student’s needs and treatment goals. This role offers the opportunity to support academic growth, promote positive school culture, and help youth build the skills they need to succeed—all within a trauma-informed, team-based environment.

* Support Classrooms & Staff: Supervise Teacher Assistants, provide instructional coverage, and assist with academic planning and assessments.
* Promote Positive School Culture: Support behavior management and crisis response; model trauma-informed practices.
* Ensure Operational Excellence: Coordinate assessments (e.g., MCAS, WIDA), maintain documentation, and contribute to school events and daily operations.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
* Current Massachusetts Special Education Teacher License
* At least 2 years of teaching experience in a Special Education setting
* Strong knowledge of the IEP process and academic documentation

* Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

What We Offer

* Supportive, mission-driven team culture
* Training and professional development
* Tuition reimbursement
* Medical & dental insurance
* Paid holidays and generous leave
* 401(k) with employer match
* Life and disability insurance
