This is a hands-on Maintenance Technician role at Astemos Bolton manufacturing site. Youll be supporting high-volume, PLC controlled production lines with a strong mix of electrical fault-finding, mechanical intervention, robotics, and continuous improvement. This is not a stand by the line and reset alarms job. Youll be expected to think, diagnose, and improve.

Diagnosing breakdowns across electrical, mechanical, robotic and control systems
Carrying out preventative maintenance and planned interventions
Supporting improvements and modifications to existing lines

This will be based on a three-shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am, 38 hours per week) due to production ramping up in the last quarter. Weekday overtime is paid at single time, Saturdays at time and a half, and Sundays at double time. In addition, youll benefit from a solid overall package including enhanced pension contributions, 7.5% bonus, generous holiday allowance (25 days) and EV Salary Sacrifice option. They also look at incrementally increasing salaries year on year. Clearly it's not a guarantee but there's been a 5% increase agreed this year, for context.
