Overview
We are seeking to appoint an innovative Teaching Assistant to support students in school, especially those in our physical disability base. The physical disability base is a 10 place resourced provision for students with a range of physical disabilities. They all require support in accessing their learning to a varying extent; some require solely physical support whilst some also require support with their communication & interaction and access to learning.
Responsibilities
* Support students with learning activities, including personal care needs as required.
* Build positive relationships with young people and with other adults.
* Work collaboratively within a Multi Academy Trust to support inclusive education.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified at least to level 2 (grade C/4 or above at GCSE) in English and Maths.
* Excellent communication and ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Adaptable, flexible, proactive and relentlessly optimistic.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and may be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
