Nursery Manager Brentwood, Essex Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Holiday: 24 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Are you an experienced Early Years and Nursery Manager/Leader looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Outstanding-rated nursery in Brentwood that is passionate about providing the highest standard of childcare and early years education. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
The nursery provides care for children aged 3 months to 5 years and prides itself on creating a safe, caring, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The Role As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently maintained. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated childcare team Maintaining compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements Supporting high-quality learning and development opportunities for all children Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals Managing occupancy, staffing levels, and nursery performance Driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent standards throughout the setting Creating a positive and supportive environment for both children and staff Requirements Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) Previous Nursery Manager experience preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements Experience working towards occupancy and quality targets Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education What's on Offer Salary up to £42,000 per annum 40 hours per week across 5 days 24 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Supportive working environment Ongoing professional development opportunities* Opportunity to lead an established and highly regarded nursery If you are a passionate and experienced childcare professional looking to make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
