We are looking for a new Associate Consultant to join our team of Financial Advisors.

Initially focusing on non-regulated areas, you'll expand into regulated financial planning, empowering both corporate and individual clients.

Working closely with regulated financial planners, you'll grow into a fully qualified and authorized consultant.

Required Experience
- Service/sales orientated: outstanding customer service, translates client needs into engagements, demonstrates commerciality in their actions, established network of clients internally and externally, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to articulate and agree appropriate fees with clients, ensuring clients fully understand what they are paying for.
- Excellent organisation skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and develop workable solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation.
- Demonstrable record of high sales success, with ability to manage and develop compliant business from new and existing clients in the private client arena. This includes high value, specialist and complex client relationships.
- Proven project management capability and experience.
- Ability to deal with change in a positive way.
Required Technical Knowledge and understanding
- To develop and keep up to date technical knowledge of the financial planning and employee benefit consultancy process through appropriate industry exams and CPD, including products, funds, pensions, markets, appropriate financial instruments, the required regulatory standards and their relevance to clients.
- Keep up to date with key developments, industry/market changes and regulations.
- IT literate - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and relevant internal systems/databases.
- Ensure that individually and as a firm "We Treat Customers Fairly".
- Awareness of the regulatory requirements and restrictions in respect of regulated and non-regulated activities, and in particular ensuring that any regulated activities are only undertaken by a regulated and authorised individual.
Required Commitment to Qualifications
- To achieve the appropriate regulatory qualification at QCF Level 4 (i.e. Diploma in Financial Planning) within 12 months.
- To achieve QCF Level 6 (Advanced Diploma or Chartered Status) with a clear personal development plan to achieving Chartered Status within 24 months of becoming a regulated adviser.
