Exciting Opportunity: Business Development Manager – Edinburgh and Fife Region

Bell is on the lookout for a dynamic, self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team, covering the Edinburgh and Fife regions with a base in our Newhouse office. If you’re passionate about sales, account management, and cultivating long-term client relationships, this role is for you! We’re looking for someone hungry for success, eager to make a significant impact and driven to grow our business.


Key Responsibilities:

* Drive new business opportunities (20-30% of the role) and manage key client accounts to ensure growth and satisfaction.
* Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers across sectors like Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Healthcare, and more.
* Leverage ERP systems to track and manage opportunities, quotes, and sales reports.
* Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit timely bids and quotations.
* Organise and attend client meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
* Support the team with strategic insights, ensuring client needs are met and exceeded.
* Act as a problem solver, bringing innovative solutions to the table.


What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in new business generation and account management, with a focus on growth and results.
* Experienced at selling services in a similar role
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in face-to-face and phone interactions.
* Hungry for success and motivated to make a positive impact in your role.
* A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
* Problem-solving mindset and a passion for achieving targets.
* Experience within the sector is preferred.
* Full UK driving license.

Experience:

* sales of services and account management: 3 years (required)
* generating new business: 2 years (required)
