Job Description
3. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
5. Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
6. Manage the accounting and finance team effectively.
7. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
8. Monitor cash flow and financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
9. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
10. Provide financial advice and insights to support decision-making processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:
11. Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Strong experience in managing financial operations, ideally within a school setting.
13. Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team effectively.
14. Happy to work 5 days a week on site London location
15. Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
