Job Title: Senior Health Economist Consultant
Location: London - Hybrid
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Health Economist Consultant to join a rapidly growing, dynamic team that provides cutting-edge health economic and analytical solutions for clients in the healthcare and life sciences industries. In this role, you will lead client-facing projects, applying innovative data science and health economic methods to solve complex healthcare challenges. You will help improve population health and contribute to reducing health inequalities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day project management and coordination of internal and client-facing teams
* Design and develop solutions for complex health economic and statistical problems
* Provide expertise in health economics, contributing to HTA submissions, forecasting disease burden, and analysing clinical trial data
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development
* Contribute to business development activities such as proposal writing and client presentations
* Communicate complex ideas and solutions clearly to clients and stakeholders
Experience & Skills:
* Significant experience in Health Economics or Statistics, ideally within a consultancy setting
* Strong analytical background with a relevant Master's degree or PhD (Health Economics, Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science)
* Experience in HTA submissions, statistical analysis (e.g., survival analysis, utility analysis), and external comparator arms methods (e.g., MAIC)
* Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and client projects
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
* Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with R/Python
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a client-focused environment
