We are seeking an experienced and engaging Archivist to provide effective management and development of the Nationally Accredited Rotherham Archives and Local Studies collection.

Position Details
This role is a 12-month maternity cover within the Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage team, based at Clifton Park Museum. The Archives manages collections spanning 700 years of history, including the York and Lancaster Regimental Archive, documenting 210 years of regimental history and service.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a small team responsible for collections management.
2. Develop knowledge and understanding of the collections.
3. Provide public access through the search room, distance enquiries, exhibitions, and events.
4. Collaborate with the museum team to enhance public engagement and ensure collections are relevant and representative of Rotherham’s communities.
