About the Role
Carbon60 is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic Client in Belfast, UK. Our client is a large aircraft manufacturing company and are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join them on a contractual basis until the end of November 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support for technical issues and continuous improvement
* Involve support functions in the continuous improvement routines of the production team
* Support capacity management and design consultation
* Analyse and optimise existing manufacturing systems
* Define components and parts for new jigs and tools
* Develop and deploy capability on new product introductions
* Introduce manufacturing best practices
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar field), or equivalent HND, HNC, or NVQ qualification in Engineering
* 3+ years of experience in the aerospace or automotive industry and manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of industrial processes and standards within the aerospace industry
* Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and change in complex manufacturing environments
* Proactive approach to driving efficiency and resolving production issues
