Recruitment Consultant – Technology
Location: Cambridge | Competitive Salary + Commission
SoCode is looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our established Cambridge team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their recruitment career, or with strong commercial/sales experience who wants to develop quickly and build a long-term career in technology recruitment.

You’ll receive hands-on training, ongoing support, and the chance to specialise within one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech markets.
What You’ll Do
* Build and grow relationships across our key verticals: Data & AI, Cyber Security, Software, Engineering, Transformation & ERP, Cloud, and Senior Appointments.
* Source, interview, and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.
* Support business development by identifying new opportunities and engaging potential clients.
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact through to offer negotiation.
* Work alongside experienced consultants and managers to deepen your technical knowledge and refine your approach.
* Represent SoCode confidently and professionally to both clients and candidates.

* Some experience in recruitment OR strong sales/commercial experience with the desire to move into tech recruitment.
* Ambition to progress, whether that’s becoming a specialist consultant, senior biller, or future leader.
* Strong communication skills and confidence in building relationships.
* Proactive, organised, and motivated by goals, targets, and results.
* A positive, resilient mindset and eagerness to learn.
