We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our teams across QUEST Primary Schools. In this role, you will be responsible for providing targeted support to pupils who require specific complex needs, helping them to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to the pupil, tailoring your approach to their individual needs.
* Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement the pupil's support plan.
* Monitor the pupil's progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher.
* Promote the pupil's independence and self-care skills.

Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Teaching Assistance or a related field.
* Experience working with pupils with communication and interaction needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Salary and contract details: 17,511 - 18,067 per annum. Contract type: Temporary fixed term contract; 31.25 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year. Employer: The QUEST Trust (not Wigan Council). Various positions within QUEST primary schools (including QUEST St Peter’s CE Primary School, Hindley Green CP School, St John’s CE Primary School, Abram, St John’s CE Primary School Hindley Green).
