Our award-winning social enterprise has grown through the dedication of our team, and we are now seeking an Assistant Trade Supervisor to join C~urb’s Trades Team. The role involves assisting the Planned Maintenance Trade Supervisor in delivering Link’s Planned Maintenance program, primarily focusing on replacing and upgrading components such as kitchens across Link’s housing stock.
The responsibilities include monitoring the progress of installation works from pre-inspection to final sign-off, and managing a small team of trade operatives. You will coordinate work issuance to trade operatives and external contractors, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and technical standards, as well as customer expectations and organizational procedures.
About You
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of building maintenance, experience inspecting domestic properties, and a relevant qualification such as an HNC in Building/Technical/Construction or equivalent trade qualification. You should be skilled in interpreting specifications, preparing work schedules, and using IT systems for data management. Knowledge of current legislation related to building and inspection works is essential. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are required, along with the ability to adapt to new systems and support team members.
