The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of a range of systems, including:
* Fire alarm systems
* Intruder alarms
* CCTV systems
* Access control systems
You will work across a variety of sites, providing technical expertise, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Install, service, and maintain fire & security systems to industry standards
* Carry out fault-finding and repairs efficiently and accurately
* Complete all required documentation and reports in line with company procedures
* Provide on-site support and advice to customers, maintaining strong relationships
* Participate in the out-of-hours callout rota (with additional pay)
* Travel across the UK and Ireland
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in fire & security engineering (multi-disciplined preferred)
* Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry regulations
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., FIA units, CSR/CSCS card) are desirable but not essential
