This is a 52-week residential environment offering exceptional care, learning opportunities and structure. We are seeking Night Support Workers who bring calmness, empathy and resilience to the role, ensuring students feel safe, secure and supported overnight.

What the Role Involves
As a Night Support Worker, you will play an essential part in each young person’s continuity of care. Your presence helps maintain routines, ensure safety and encourage independence in a gentle and structured way.
* Provide consistent overnight care to students with autism and complex needs
* Maintain a calm environment and support bedtime routines
* Monitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to night-time needs
* Follow behaviour and communication support plans
* Work alongside a committed team to maintain high-quality care
* Support safeguarding procedures and complete nightly records
* Help promote independence and life skills where appropriate

What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 6 months’ childcare experience, ideally within SEN
* Ability to drive due to the rural location
* Calm, patient and compassionate approach
* Reliable, consistent and confident working independently overnight
* Positive role model with excellent communication skills
* Flexible with shift patterns and able to work in a 24-hour residential setting
* Motivated to support young people with significant learning and behavioural needs
* Desire to learn, develop and progress

Additional Role Information
* Salary: £29,848 rising to £30,462.25 post-probation
* Part of a residential service supporting ages 11–19 with autism and severe learning difficulties
* Located in a scenic village close to Lymington
* Ofsted-rated Outstanding provision
* Training and mentoring available; no specialist qualifications required to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
