Our Professional Information Business Sales team is currently seeking a Client Advisor. As the Client Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that Dow Jones Global clients are maximising the value of their investment in our products through effective and efficient use in solving their business needs. The Client Advisor will identify and develop a deep understanding of the clients’ industries, business needs and deliver insights and value propositions of Dow Jones products to support ROI. You will be responsible for enhancing and expanding the relationships between Dow Jones and our GLOBAL PIB clients.
Reporting into the Global Accounts Sales Director you will work closely with the customer to understand how they derive business value from DJ services and own the account plan to drive ROI throughout their organization. You will be responsible for setting retention KPIs and measuring retention activity to insure customer success. You will be responsible for all aspects of the renewal process for these GLOBAL accounts including metrics review, proposals, meetings with key stakeholders and business champions as well as contracting.
You will:
1. Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their business, challenges and industries to foster existing and new relationships with our key accounts
2. Responsible for development and execution of the renewal plan including success metrics and KPIs
3. Develop engagement strategies for clients and work with other team members including Product, Customer Service and Training teams to execute those strategies
4. Create and execute key account onboarding programs for new customers including KPIs and success metrics
5. Prepare and present quarterly reports to key account stakeholder team on status of KPI achievement
6. Work with the DJ Strategic team to understand client relationship with Dow Jones across the Revenue Engine
7. Ability to step into the shoes of both clients and our internal teams and know how to express those perspectives, concerns, and requirements to the other side
8. Manage RFP requests from Key Accounts
9. Uncover additional sales opportunities and provide referrals to Account Managers
You Have:
10. Min 5 years of proven success in customer engagement or sales
11. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
12. Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
13. Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite & Google Drive
15. Experience with SFDC
16. Bachelor’s degree preferred
