Role:
The role involves managing client and contractor communications, handling calls and emails, assigning and chasing jobs, and maintaining system transparency for the FM Help desk. Key requirements include being friendly, professional, IT literate, and having strong multitasking and communication skills. The role is office-based and requires someone tenacious, results-driven, and ambitious with an ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
Role and responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for the FM Helpdesk, handling calls and emails.
* Deliver excellent customer service to clients and contractors.
* Manage and assign jobs efficiently to the correct teams.
* Chase up outstanding tasks and ensure maintenance is processed on time.
* Update systems to ensure full transparency.
* Communicate daily with contractors and collaborate with site managers and engineers.
* Challenge unnecessary call-outs and work to meet business KPIs.
Key Experience needed:
* Communication: Confident, reassuring, and professional on the phone and in writing.
* Technical: Strong IT literacy and ability to manage systems and emails effectively.
* Organisational: Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.
* Interpersonal: Friendly and professional demeanour, with the ability to build relationships.
