Job Title: Full-Time School Admin Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Admin Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a primary school in Burnley. This is a full-time, school-based role starting after the October half-term and continuing until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide efficient administrative support to the school office
Manage pupil records and attendance systems
Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally
Support with school communications, letters, and newsletters
Assist with reception duties and visitor management
Maintain confidentiality and comply with safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements:
Previous school-based administrative experience is essential
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SIMS (or similar school systems)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to supporting children’s education
