Your key responsibilities will include managing the applications team, prioritising their work delivering clear strategic direction and effective line management as well as managing SLA’s and KPI’s in line with service targets. You will also support business change initiatives by developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders and partners, collaborating to translate organisational needs into value-driven technical solutions aligned with strategic goals. You will have accountability for the ongoing support, maintenance, security, and optimisation of key business applications. Your leadership will ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient, while minimising downtime and improving operational performance. Must Have Demonstrable experience working commercially as an Applications Manager, Applications Team Lead or Senior Applications Analyst. Experience is line management, team leading, or mentoring. Experience leading a support services. Experience of delivering systems improvement or development projects. A high level of attention to detail, underpinned by a commitment to accurate and reliable data. Strong background in developing, optimising, and improving housing management systems (Such as one of, MRI Enterprise/Orchard Housing, MRI HousingOne/OPENHousing, Aareon QL/Homemaster/MIS ActiveH, NEC Housing, Civica Cx, or similar.) Nice to Have SQL Scripting experience. Proven understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance with data privacy and protection regulations, including GDPR. Project Management/Coordination experience Experience working in an Agile environment. Relevant certification, such as ITIL v3, PRINCE2, Microsoft and/or application/database specific accreditations. As an individual you will be a strong leader capable of challenging decisions and team building. You will be a self-starter and display strong organisational & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail to ensure effective work planning, prioritisation, multitasking, and the achievement of deadlines for self and others..
