The Role:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of key contacts within housing associations, local authorities, and their contractor networks.
* Drive new business by converting leads into sales using a structured, proactive approach.
* Present and promote the company’s products and services to potential clients.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to maximise business opportunities.
* Identify, assess, and validate sales opportunities to ensure alignment with the company’s offerings.
* Represent the company on relevant procurement frameworks and portals.
* Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, tenders, and quotations.
* Provide on-site support and technical expertise to customers as required.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activity and opportunities.
Ideal Candidates will …
* Have a proven track record of success in sales within the doors, housing, local authority or construction sectors.
* Is comfortable managing tenders, proposals and framework agreements.
* Has experience working with technical construction products.
* Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Is a natural networker with the tenacity to engage key decision-makers.
* Builds strong, trusted relationships with clients and becomes their go-to advisor.
* Has a strong desire to learn about the company’s products and solutions.
* Is willing to travel extensively across the target geography.
* Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets in a business development role.
