This role is based at Llandegfedd, postcode: NP4 0SY, and involves supporting the activity team in safeguarding and assisting customers with watersports, land-based, or team-building activities, ensuring high health and safety standards. The position requires working on weekends, evenings, and bank holidays, with a salary of £12.60/hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors in making the most of their visit.
* Support the delivery of land and water-based activities, including team-building programs, in line with NGB and Welsh Water standards.
* Assist with equipment hire, safety briefings, and site setup and pack-down.
* Work collaboratively with third-party organizations and ensure safety and security on site.
* Handle customer check-ins, bookings, inquiries, and payments.
* Maintain high standards of equipment maintenance, site cleanliness, and safety protocols.
* Support conservation, educational, and recreational activities, and assist with site upkeep and enforcement of rules.
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with:
* A passion for customer service and safety.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Water safety knowledge and experience working with the public.
* Good communication skills and IT literacy.
Preferred but not essential qualifications include NGB certifications in water sports, First Aid, Lifeguard qualifications, and experience in delivering water or land-based activities.
