Overview

St. Edwards is seeking a well-organised individual to play a key role as Health Centre Assistant, as an integral part of the Health Centre team. The role supports efficient service delivery and a caring environment for all pupils.


Responsibilities

* Accompany pupils to routine and emergency medical appointments.
* Liaise with parents and carers as needed.
* Deliver and collect medication as part of daily Health Centre operations.
* Provide day-to-day support within the Health Centre.


Working arrangements

This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday during academic terms (approximately 34 weeks per year). The working hours are 1.30pm until 7.30pm.


Training

First aid training will be provided.


About you

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with both children and adults are essential.
* You will also need good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience in a similar role is not essential.
