We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our clients Project Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work across product design, development, and delivery, helping to bring creative technical solutions into real-world applications.
What you’ll be doing:
* Acting as the primary technical support for projects.
* Providing input on design concepts, quotations, and project opportunities.
* Working with electronics, power systems, and wiring harnesses.
* Designing in 3D CAD (Solid Edge preferred), creating prototypes, and testing designs.
* Selecting materials and applying knowledge of mechanical and production processes.
* Supporting manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Carrying out quality checks such as FAI and PPAP to meet compliance standards.
* Maintaining organised records and structured project documentation.

What we’re looking for:
* Strong understanding of electronics, power distribution, and system design.
* Experience with 3D CAD software
* Knowledge of cabling, wiring harnesses, and schematic interpretation.
* Hands-on prototyping and problem-solving skills.

* Experience in mechanical design and material selection.
* Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (e.g., injection moulding, laser cutting).
* Creative approach to engineering challenges.
* Previous work within regulated industries.
