The Opportunity The selected candidate will become part of the Caterpillar IT team (Energy & Transportation Segment) located in Peterborough. This position involves supporting the Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) by serving as the intermediary between IT and diverse global business units, facilitating the creation of requirements, development, testing and utilisation of information systems across Engineering & Manufacturing. The primary emphasis will be on gaining an in-depth understanding of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) used across all regional facilities and the development of these systems to further enhance our business processes. The successful applicant will join a global team supporting comprehensive business operations, offering opportunities for professional growth and exposure to various business functions. Additionally, the role provides the opportunity to gain experience with numerous application technologies and IT architectures.
