Data Governance Manager
Location: Norwich, Bristol, York or Perth
Salary: Circa £55k

What you’ll do
The Data Governance Manager is a key role within our CIO Data Governance Office, supporting the effective operation of our data governance and control framework while driving new ways of working across the CIO to improve how we use data. You’ll work closely with the CIO Data Governance Officer and Senior Data Governance Manager, partnering with CIO projects and programmes to embed Data Fundamentals into design and delivery and ensure alignment with Privacy by Design principles.
You’ll also support key data governance processes to maintain a strong data risk and control position, while helping to develop and deliver education and training that builds awareness and understanding of good data governance across the function.
Skills and experience
* Experience working with data governance and data privacy principles, including GDPR – exposure to AI would be an advantage
* An ability to work with change programmes and projects to embed data and privacy requirements
* Experience supporting governance, risk, and control processes in a regulated environment
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to internal teams and Senior Stakeholders
* Confidence building relationships and influencing stakeholders at different levels
What you’ll get
* Starting salary circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
