Go-Ahead London is the capital’s largest bus operator. Approximately 7,500 staff from 16 locations, mainly in South and Southwest London, are committed to providing a high-quality passenger experience on around 160 routes under contract to Transport for London (TfL). We run just under a quarter of the London bus network using 2,450 buses and provide an essential public service.
We are looking to recruit school bus drivers based at Bexleyheath and Orpington garage. This role is a 39-week school term time contract and is ideal for someone who would like to have time off during the school holidays.
Responsibilities
* It is essential you have a PCV Licence.
* It is important that you drive to the set timetable as much as possible. Whilst driving a company vehicle you are responsible for the health, safety, security, welfare, environmental and fire safety arrangements for yourself and your colleagues.
Working hours are Monday to Friday for approximately 6 hours per day with the earliest start at 6.00 am and the latest finish being 17.45pm. The position is paid at £16.11 per hour.
Qualifications
We offer a range of benefits including 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. All holidays must be taken during non-school time.
