Salary: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)
About the RoleAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Gloucester. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require tailored support to thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional needs.
2. Assist in the implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs.
3. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
4. Support pupils with emotional regulation and personal care when necessary.
5. Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents.
What We’re Looking For
6. Experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting.
7. A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting children.
8. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills.
9. Relevant qualifications (, CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
10. A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development.
