Job Overview
:As a Senior Design Compliance Manager your role is a Senior Leadership one which requires the highest levels of probity, diligence, professionalism, and acceptance of responsibility on your part
.You and your team’s primary responsibly, is the management of the design process for design and build or traditional contracts with Contractors Design Portions (CDP’s) acting as the primary contact with the design teams, the client, and the production teams. As a senior leader, you are responsible for supervising your Design Management Team’s (DMT) performance, as well as that of the consultant teams and sub-contractor design, managing the quality and delivery of the detailed design (and on occasion planning) information, ensuring the information is compliant with legislation, our contract and is designed efficiently and economically
.In order to achieve these standards and requirements the following must be adhered to
:o To take ownership of all design management & coordination level responsibilities for a project assigned to you by your line management. To plan, manage & co-ordinate your DMT, Consultants teams and Design Sub-Contractors design information is
:• Executed in accordance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
.• Executed in accordance with the Building Safety Act Regulations 202
2• Compliant with the main contract/ER’s, legislation, and planning
.• In accordance with MCL’s design criteria in regard to the scope of works, quality and benchmarks, as set out in the Consultants and Design Sub-Contractors MCL contract
.• Delivered in a timely manner; in line with the Target Master Programme (both sequence and duration)
.• Efficiently planned & executed to maintain the anticipated financial margins of the Project
.• Fully compliant with Company procedures, policies, and standards
