As a Paediatric Dietitian, you will see general patients on the ward, including those with eating disorders and SCBU. You will also see patients with diabetes and their families during admissions, including new diagnoses, emergencies, and planned stabilisation. Additionally, you will attend 3-monthly consultant-led MDT clinics across the area, participate in enhanced care MDT clinics, education sessions, and conduct home/school visits as required.
You need to be passionate about working with children. This role is ideal for a Dietitian with some experience in diabetes and/or paediatrics who wishes to expand their skills. Alternatively, it is suitable for an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian with good transferable skills looking to develop their paediatric experience. Training and support will be provided.
