Simply Education is working with a fantastic secondary school in the Maidstone area that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from the start of the academic year.
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Maidstone. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. This is a long-term role starting in September, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Inspire students to develop a love for learning and scientific thinking
Track student progress and provide regular feedback
Contribute to departmental planning and extra-curricular activities
Uphold the school's behaviour and safeguarding policiesWhat We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Specialism in any Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting
A passion for your subject and a strong classroom presence
