We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants for specialist SEN and mainstream schools in Maidenhead. This role offers powerful, hands-on experience supporting children and young people who may struggle with emotional regulation, communication, and engagement.
For an aspiring art therapist, this role provides a unique opportunity to observe how non-verbal expression, creativity, and therapeutic relationships can support emotional well-being and learning.
Many pupils in these settings experience difficulties with emotional regulation, attention, executive functioning, and social communication. Your role will be to provide structure, consistency, and positive support—using creative and therapeutic approaches to help them remain engaged in education and develop confidence in their abilities.
Start Date: April 2026 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (term time only) Pay: £107 per day
