An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Controller to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as VO5, Brylcreem and TIGI based at their prestigious facility in Battersea, London (hybrid role working approx. 2 days per week onsite but flexibility required, with the remainder of the week remotely) This is a full-time temporary role to start ASAP for 12 months, working a 37.5-hour week and is paying up to £70,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. Your Role The UKI ANZ region is €100m in size consisting of a directly managed business in the UK and distributor partners in Ireland and ANZ. As Financial Controller for this region you will take full ownership for the controlling of legal entities and lead for a culture of stewardship across the business. You will lead a team of 9 and work closely with Audit, Tax Advisory and third-party service teams. In doing so you will have the opportunity to define and implement the business process and technology that you will be accountable for in the future. Your Key Responsibilities Implementation and stabilization of ERP and control framework across the newly established business Work together with treasury to support cashflow analysis and forecasting Support transformation project for Wave 2 Monthly R2R closing and controls Financial Accounting and statutory reporting for all legal entities in the region Own B2C and Credit Management with support 3P partner Own P2P with process excellence and control Oversee Tax compliance and reporting with support 3P partner Risk management and operationalization of control framework Work together with the Elida Beauty Controller network to drive process and controls excellence Recruitment and development of the regional finance team What you will bring to the role Drive and results orientation: Natural bias for action and willing to make a positive difference to achieve higher levels of performance. Requirements PQE experience in the Financial Controlling function and/or Audit function/Accounting Advisory Services Experience of statutory accounting & liaison with audit Experience of UK tax compliance and reporting Strong technical knowledge of IFRS Proven ability to innovate and manage change Proven ability to manage advisors effectively Nice to Have: Experience in FMCG industry Experience of working in Private Equity stakeholder model Systems experience of Oracle EBS
